B2B Business to Business, indicates inter-company commercial relations.
Back Office Denomination given by IDC to ERP, HCM and SCM software systems, used in a combined form with automatic integrations.
BI Business Intelligence. Software integrated to ERP systems, which facilitates the information organization and access, and that aims at summarizing analytical data, exhibiting them in a plan and graphical mode, speeding and optimizing the decision-making process within a company.
Source Code A set of words written in an orderly mode, containing instructions in one of the existing programming languages in the market, in a logical fashion. After compilation, it becomes the software, that is, executable programs. This set of words, which form lines of commands, shall comply with the standardization of the language selected, according to running criteria.
Object Code The code generated by a compiler or assembler from the conversion of the source code of a program. The term refers, most of the times, to the machine code that can be executed directly by the central processing unit (CPU) of the system, although it may also mean a source code in assembly language or a variation of the machine code.
CRM Customer Relationship Management. Management Software that enables higher efficiency in the customer management process, by integrating the basic relationship components, and that enables the company to improve the satisfaction of its customers and increase its results, based on the deep knowledge of the customer needs, privileged service for the best customers, more efficient marketing campaigns, and improved management of the sales channels.
ERM Enterprise Relationship Management, software that analyzes the available customer data and the utilization of products and services offered by a company.
ERP Enterprise Resource Planning Software. These are software components that store, process and organize information generated in a series of business management activities. ERP establishes relations among information from several areas within a company, thus streamlining the service to customers and the delivery of products. An ERP solution can be comprised by several modules, including product planning, material purchases, inventory maintenance, relationship with suppliers, customer care and order tracking, interaction with suppliers, human resources and finance.
HCM Human Capital Management. Management software that automates and standardizes the HR operating routines, based on the labor and social security legislation in force.

Java A programming language.
Modules Parts of a system, computerized or not, in charge of a well-defined task, and that can be coupled or uncoupled to a system in order to enable it to perform the module task.
SCM Supply Chain Management. Logistics planning and optimizing software components that integrate value chains of a company, such as suppliers, customers and associates (e.g. franchising), aiming at optimizing time and resources. The integration of the value chain occurs from the first contact with the customer to the supplier, passing by sales, customer care, inventory management, product and service delivery, and production.
Integrated Business Management Software Denomination of software components that have automatic integrations. They can be represented by software products named as Back-Office or have aggregated software components, such as BI, CRM or others.
